郭树勇教授,男,1968年出生于山东临沂,现为上海外国语大学国际关系与公共事务学院教授、院长、博士生导师。国家社会科学基金重大项目习近平新时代中国特色社会主义外交思想研究首席专家,教育部政治学类专业教学指导委员会委员,上海市领军人才。全国外语外贸高校国际关系专业/院长/系主任协作机制召集人(2019—2022)。《国际观察》(CSSCI)主编。上海市学位办政治学(政治社会学)学科评议组成员。2001年,复旦大学国际政治系国际关系专业毕业,获博士学位。兼任中国国际关系学会常务理事,中国教育学会国际政治专业委员会副秘书长兼常务理事,上海市国际关系学会副会长,上海市外事咨询专家,曾任上海市联合国研究会副会长等。主要研究领域为国际关系理论、外交学理论、国际政治社会学、马克思主义国际关系思想、区域国別研究理论以及中国人民代表大会制度理论等。

在中外期刊上共发表有影响的学术论文约90篇,其中《中国国际关系理论建设中的中国意识成长及中国学派的前途》《论圈序认同对中国外交理论与实践的影响》《国际政治社会学初探》《新国际主义与中国软实力外交》《试论马克思主义国际关系思想及其研究方向》《中国梦、世界梦与新国际主义》等6篇论文受到学术界积极肯定,其中前者获得2018年上海市哲学社会科学优秀成果奖一等奖。郭教授出版多部专著、编著、译著等,包括《建构主义与国际政治》(2001,专著、长征出版社)《全球化时代的国际关系》(复旦大学出版社,2000,排名第四)《马克思主义国际关系思想》(主编,军事谊文出版社,2004)、《新现实主义及其批判》(译著,北京大学出版社,2003)、《战略演讲录》(主编,北京大学出版社,2005)《美国大战略》(译著,北京大学出版社,2005)《大国成长的逻辑——近代以来西方大国成功崛起的国际政治社会学分析》(北京大学出版社,专著,2006)、《国际关系:呼唤中国理论》(主编,天津人民出版社,2005)、《从国际主义到新国际主义——马克思主义国际关系思想发展研究》(时事出版社,专著,2006)、《战略与探索》(主编,世界知识出版社,200720082009)、《中国软实力战略》(时事出版社,专著,2012)、《国际政治社会学简论:马克思主义的视角》(时事出版社,专著,2014)、《民主与政治片论》(上海人民出版社,专著,2015)、《二十国集团与全球治理》(译著,上海人民出版社,2016)《文化现实主义》(译著,人民出版社,排名第二,2017)《区域国别演讲录》(主编,上海人民出版社,2016)《国际关系理论的中国探索》(执行主编,上海人民出版社,2018)等。主要给本科生讲授《区域国别研究导论》等;给硕士生讲授《国际关系理论》《马克思主义与中国政治》(针对留学生)等;给博士生讲授《国际政治社会学》等。

郭树勇教授年轻时曾在原总参谋部、空军等从事翻译、参谋和教学等工作。2004年至2010年任上海交通大学国际与公共事务学院副教授、教授、系副主任、院长助理、副院长、博士生导师。2010年至2014年任上海市人大常委会研究室调研处处长、法工委立法一处处长等工作。招收博士生的方向有:国际政治社会学;新时代中国外交;比较议会与比较政党;区域国别理论等。招收硕士研究生的主要专业或方向有:国际关系理论、软实力外交、区域国别研究等。

Prof. Mr. Guo Shuyong, born in Linyi, Shandong, is currently doctoral supervisor, Dean of The School of International Relations and Public Affairs (SIRPA) of Shanghai International Studies University (SISU) and Executive Dean of Shanghai Academy of Global Governance and Area Studies (SAGGAS). His professional affiliations include Member of the Steering Committee on Political Science of the National Ministry of Education, Chief Expert on ‘Studies on Xi Jinping’s Diplomatic Thoughts on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics in the New Era’, which is a Major Project of National Sciences Fund, Convenor of IR Deans in National League of Foreign Languages/Trade Universities (2019--2022), Editor-in-chief of International Review (CSSCI), and Member of Committee on Curricula Review (political science/political sociology) affiliated to Shanghai Office of Academic Degrees Committee.

  

Before obtaining his PhD in international relations from Fudan University in 2001, Prof. Guo Shuyong served on The General Staff Department of the PLA and Air Force. His academic career during 2004 and 2010 has been in the School of International and Public Affairs of Shanghai Jiaotong University where he began as an associate professor and later was promoted academically to full professorship and administratively to Deputy Dean of the school. From 2010 to 2014, he served as Director of the research department of the research office of the standing committee of the Shanghai municipal people's congress and after that, Director of the legislative branch of the commission. His professional concurrent posts include Executive director of the Chinese Institute of International Relations, Deputy secretary-general and executive director of committee on international politics of The Chinese Society of Education (CSE), Vice President of Shanghai Political Science AssociationVice President of Shanghai Institute of International RelationsVice President of Research Institute of Shanghai People’s Congress and Consulting Expert on Shanghai Foreign Affairs.

  

Prof. Guo Shuyong’s research interests lay primarily in the areas of IR theories, international political sociology, Marxist IR thoughts, area studies and theories on National People’s Congress. He has published about 90 articles in various journals both home and abroad, among which, The Growth of Chinese Consciousness and the Prospect of China School in the Construction of China’s IR Theory, Identity in Circular Sequence: Implications for Building China’s IR and Foreign Affairs Theories, A Primary Exploration into International Political Sociology, New Internationalism and China’s Soft Power Diplomacy, On Marxist IR thoughts and Its Research Orientation, Chinese Dream, World Dream and New Internationalism have received accolades, with the first article having won the first prize of Shanghai Philosophy and Social Science Outstanding Achievement Award 2018.

He gives courses on both undergraduate and graduate levels. These courses are Introduction to Area Studies (undergraduate), Theories of International Relations (graduate), Marxism and Chinese Politics (overseas graduates) and International Political Sociology (doctoral). He supervises doctoral students in the areas of international political sociology, Chinese diplomacy in the New Era, comparative parliaments and political parties, and theories of area studies.
